ConnMan 1.9 was released Friday, October 26, 2012.

This release focuses on various fixes with alignment issues in DHCP, bugs with DNS lookups and updated rfkill handling. Please consider upgrading from ConnMan version 1.8.

The DHCP code now handles alignment issues with DHCP message fields better and in a much more consistent way than in previous releases. Several issues regarding DNS queries and proxying have been fixed. The issues were exposed after changes to WISPr reference counting in version 1.8. Rfkill handling has been improved in this release, ConnMan now handles technologies with and without rfkill kernel support much better than before. Fixes were also made to the 'PreferredTechnologies' feature, ordering of services is now properly handled with respect to services connected either through the D-Bus API and via the autoconnection mechanism.

A new feature called 'SingleConnectedTechnology' has been added. Enabling this feature keeps only one service connected at a time. Thus the last service to connect will disconnect all other services no matter what the states of the other services are. Use with caution, this feature is intended for specific use cases only.

Thanks for all the hard work and bugfixes goes to Jukka Rissanen, Marcel Holtmann, Marti Raudsepp, Patrik Flykt, Tomasz Bursztyka and Intel.
